Satanic Cult
It's not totally wrong if metal music is frequently associated with Satanists. Some black metal band from Norway is obviously worshipped devils through their music. However, although some other metal band also talked about the devil, apparently not all of them really adore him. Sometimes this is simply a gimmick factor only.

Not Talented
This is clearly wrong. Metal musicians have good skills to play a musical instrument. Various techniques of vocal, guitar, and drums is needed to be able to play this music genre as well. Shredding and downstroke are several guitar techniques that need to be mastered by the metal music guitarist. The drummer also has to master some techniques, such as double bass drum and blast-beat.

Yelling Unclear
Don't misjudge the lead singer of metal bands that seems to be screaming incoherently on stage. It turns out, they also have to master the various 'shout' techniques. Techniques such as growling, screaming, and shrieking. Three techniques that shall be controlled, so they are not just yelling unclear.

Anti Religion
Not true if you assume all metal musicians as an anti-religion. In fact, many of them are clearly praising the religion in their music. Like 'As I Lay Dying' that talk a lot about Christianity, and great metal band from Indonesia, 'Purgatory' who preach Islam in their songs.

Criminal
Although many metal musicians are often involved in criminal cases, doesn't mean everyone is a criminal. Everything still depends on each individual. Even if they insert criminal matters in their lyrics, videos, or the album cover, it's just for gimmick purpose. In fact, sometimes you have to look again, who knows there is a message implied behind all that.
